Domestic Abuse

If you are experiencing domestic abuse or harassment of any form you may wish to contact the agencies below for confidential advice and support. In an emergency and immediate danger ring the Police on 999.

There are many different forms of domestic abuse, these include but are not limited to:

  • coercively controlling behaviour emotional / psychological abuse
  • physical abuse
  • sexual abuse
  • financial abuse
  • harassment and stalking.

Domestic abuse may also include a range of behaviours that, when viewed as isolated incidents, do not seem much, If they involve a pattern of behaviour that result in you feeling fear, alarm or distress, it is abuse.

 

Live Fear Free Helpline:

The Live Fear Free Helpline (0808 80 10 800) is the national free support and information service for women, children and men in Wales who are experiencing or who have experienced abuse and / or violence at the hands of someone close to them.
